Lights out at London Bridge

We were just hanging out drinking cider on the street in the heat when I noticed the light in the west. It mirrored the colours under London Bridge just perfectly. I’d brought my fancy new camera out but I’m still not sure how I’d do a panorama. iPhone to the rescue!

Leatherback turtles!

These amazing little turtles hatched while we were swimming in the sea. Thankfully I’d bought my new camera down to the beach with me. Unfortunately I’d had a couple of Caribs already, it was raining and I got a bit confused with my settings at times. Considering how tiny they were they seemed to move…

A bridge with no view

This scene was striking by its absence of a view. Tower Bridge was hidden by the thick fog that came down over London this morning. Stood on London Bridge I could just catch a glimpse of the top of one of the towers and the outline of HMS Belfast looking like an eerie ghost ship.

Getting the sun spot-on

I cross London Bridge pretty much every day and always look out over the Thames towards Tower Bridge. It’s one of my favourite London views. Every so often it makes me stop in my tracks – this morning the sky was just phenomenal.
